Worrell's Lonely Highway series documents the layered moods and inherent beauty of the open road. Compiling seventeen years' worth of images, this ongoing body of work positions Worrell as an eternal observer. Shot mainly from the passenger seat before obtaining a driver's license, Worrell's photographs capture surprising abstractions, engaging portraits and familare topography found in passing landscapes while traveling and commuting.
